Visionary Director: Ability to maintain a work environment that embraces children and families and empowers staff to perform at high levels. Minimum qualifications: Kentucky Child Care Director’s Credential; 3 years as a director, assistant director or lead teacher of an early childhood program; 7 years as a supervisor; skilled in coaching others; excellent organizational, time-management and conflict-resolution skills; deep understanding of early childhood teaching and learning; and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Full-Time.
Dynamic Toddler and Preschool Teacher (2 positions): Ability to create an engaging and exciting learning environment for young children. Minimum qualifications: Child Development Associate credential (CDA); 3 years working with children 12 months and/or preschool; lesson planning to create a learning environment that incorporates literacy, math, art and science concepts through appropriate activities; team player; and ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance. Full-Time.
Creative Cook: Ability to create menus that are inviting for young children. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; 3 years experience as a cook; food service certification or willingness to obtain one; pleasant personality; creative in menu planning and service; ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance; and ability to complete required food service forms. Part-Time; 7:30-1:30pm
Opener/ Care-Giver: Ability to open the Center at 6:00am and assist in the classrooms. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; 2 years experience working with young children; dependable; trust-worthy; flexible; and team player. Additional bonus for opening the Center. Part-Time 6:00am-10:00am.
